It's been a long time and a huge load of work, but TyNETv4 is finally nearing its release date! Most of the important modules have been re-written for the new framework and should be working as expected. The move will be made in early August, before I take off for my journey.
There's still a lot I /should/ do, but most of it isn't of great urgency, since there's no demand for it. insert joke about nothing having any urgency because TyNET has no users
Anyway, I need to do some test runs as soon as possible. Hopefully there won't be too many bugs involved. I was also thinking of making TyNET open source, or at the very least public source. I'm still afraid of people tearing me down for terrible code, design, etc, but yeah. It's something that I definitely should get over and I'm just pushing it out further and further. For starters, I doubt there'll be much attention for it anyway, so the chance that anyone will bother even trying to figure it out is very slim. Especially given that it is not deployment-ready and has almost no documentation written for it at all. Another thing that I should work on some time soon.
I'll make a blog update that shows some of the new features under the hood and some more in-depth tech details as well in the next few days. The only requirement for this happening is me not forgetting about it.
